Ecommerce Storefront
Server-rendered catalogue, COD checkout, OTP sign-in, order tracking and full event tracking.
Capabilities
What Ecommerce Storefront does, in detail.
The customer-facing shop, server-rendered on each business's own domain. Published changes appear instantly, and the cart deliberately stores nothing that could go stale.
Catalogue
Category, brand and product pages are server-rendered with a five-minute revalidation window. Category and brand pages use a published builder banner when one exists and fall back to a generic hero, so most categories need no customisation. Product pages carry a sanitised description, a specs table and breadcrumbs from the real category tree.
Search
Paginated product search with a no-results state, marked noindex on purpose, reporting query and result count as a tracking event.
Cart
Only SKU and quantity pairs are stored in the browser, versioned so an old cart shape is wiped rather than breaking the shop. Price, name, image and stock are always fetched live, so no one checks out on a stale price.
Checkout
Cash on delivery is live, with ordering for yourself or as a gift, a saved-address picker and a district-to-thana cascade that drives delivery pricing. Checkout can return placed-immediately or OTP-required, and blocked devices, price shifts, wrong codes and sell-outs during verification are each handled distinctly. Online payment is shown as coming soon.
Passwordless sign-in
Phone and one-time code, no passwords, with sign-in and registration on one screen. The six-digit input auto-submits, and validation never reveals why an attempt failed.
Customer account
Orders with status filters and detail view, a full address book with default address, and profile settings where phone changes run through their own verification.
Order tracking
Look up an order by number for status, itemised products, assigned courier and a status timeline.
Tracking & revalidation
Page views refire on client-side navigation, and engagement events fire at 10, 30 and 60 seconds of dwell when the visitor has also scrolled, skipped on checkout and account pages so ad audiences stay clean. Purchase is sent server-side only.
Connects with
Renders catalogue data from Product Management and prices from Inventory, writes orders into Sales & Orders through Order Shield, and is edited with the builder.
