Product Management
A governed catalogue: nested categories, attribute-driven variants and a shared media library.
Capabilities
What Product Management does, in detail.
The catalogue layer every other module reads from. A nested category tree, shop-level attributes that decide which variants are sellable, and SKUs as the real unit of sale, so merchandising, stock and storefront share one vocabulary.
Multi-level categories
Categories nest through a parent reference, and a leaf flag marks which ones can hold products, so nothing is filed into a mid-tree category by accident. Each category can be featured or deactivated.
Typed attributes
Shop-level definitions such as colour, size or weight, typed as text, number, single-select, multi-select or radio, with required, filterable and sale-property flags. The sale-property flag decides whether an attribute defines a sellable variant or is only a specification.
Attribute options
The values under each attribute are reused for SKU variants and for storefront filters, so the same vocabulary drives merchandising and navigation.
Category-scoped attributes
Attributes can be bound to specific categories, so the product form and storefront filters only show what applies: Weight under Milk Products, not under Apparel.
Brands
Name, slug, logo, featured and active flags, with a storefront endpoint so brand pages pull their own products directly.
Products & SKU matrix
A product carries descriptions, category, brand and full SEO fields including Open Graph, canonical and robots. SKUs underneath hold the sellable reality: code, status, unit of measure, dimensions and shipping weight, and their own attribute combination. The form generates SKU codes and the full variation matrix, so multi-variant is the default path.
Media library
One media manager with folders serves every image field across the dashboard, gated by its own view permission.
Connects with
Per-channel stock and pricing hang off SKUs, the POS searches them, the storefront renders them and the builder's pickers select them.
