Inventory
Per-channel stock and pricing on a reserved, consumed and released stock ledger.
Capabilities
What Inventory does, in detail.
Pricing and availability are set per channel, not globally. Retail, wholesale, online and mobile can carry different numbers on the same SKU, every movement is staged on a ledger, and every manual change requires a reason.
Sales channels
Run as many channels as the business needs (retail, wholesale, online, mobile), each independently active or inactive, with one marked as default.
Per-channel stock & pricing
Every SKU has its own row per channel: sales price, original price, VAT handling, first-listing price and date, and a link to a shared inventory pool. Availability is per channel too: active, inactive or out of stock.
Reserved → consumed → released
Every order carries an inventory stage. Placed and confirmed orders reserve stock, shipment and delivery consume it, and cancellations and received returns release it back. A reconciliation job re-checks the pools every four hours.
Stock adjustments with reasons
Stock-in and manual adjustments are recorded with a mandatory reason and kept in a permanent adjustment log, so every correction has an owner and an explanation.
Change history
Price, quantity and availability changes are written to separate history tables, so you can see how a SKU moved on a channel over time, not just its current snapshot.
Connects with
The POS grid is scoped to a channel, orders move stock through the ledger on the right channel, and the channel-stock report reads the live snapshot.
